The President witnesses the Launch of the Marathon of the End of the Activities of the Technical Scouting Competition for the Scouts’ Clans at the university

 Under the auspices of Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, and Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, a marathon is launched to conclude the activities of the technical scouting competition for the scouts’ clans at the university, within the framework of activating the scouting and guiding activity, showing the spirit of volunteering, disseminating the activity among many male and female students, and disseminating scout awareness and public service in order to achieve the motto of the scouting stage, which is public service and community development, and to achieve the spirit of belonging and loyalty to the homeland, and to satisfy the needs of social, cultural, artistic, and scientific male and female scouts, develop their knowledge, expand their perceptions, increase their culture and information, impart to them the values of promise and the Scout Law, develop their scouting and guiding skills, and refine their talents and self-abilities.

The Scouting and Public Service Department has started the activities of the closing of the technical scouting competition for the scouts’ clans at the university, as the scouts’ clans compete in the university in all scouting, artistic, cultural, scientific, sports, and recreational fields, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations organizing the competition, as the spirit of cooperation and positive competition prevails between the clans, and the arbitral tribunal judged scouting and artistic work and various fields in the building of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, as part of the projects of the Scouting and Guiding Training Center.

 

The president praises the artistic works of the male and female students, including works and paintings, explaining the keenness of the university administration to support the various student activities for its important role in shaping the students’ personality and developing their skills to acquire diverse experiences and cultures, pointing to the importance of the role of scouting activities to enhance the spirit of national belonging, discipline, commitment and teamwork, and to disseminate the spirit of honest competition among the participants within the framework of scouting principles that aim at community development, public service and community participation.
