 Today, Tuesday, 15/11/2022, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, reviews the reports on the various community activities that took place during the month, submitted by Nafeh Hamadah, Director General of Community Service and Environmental Development, recommendations for seminars organized by the sector and university faculties, and reports of integrated convoys that were directed to the various villages of the governorate.

Dr. Desouky discusses the time plan for the proposed operational activities regarding the national projects awareness plan, in accordance with the directives of the Supreme Council of Universities, on the need to coordinate with the concerned authorities to raise students’ awareness of their efforts to achieve a dignified life for their citizens, and in an effort to consolidate work and cooperation.

The President of Kafrelsheikh University directs the importance of the university’s participation through projects related to community service and environmental development, thanking the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for his efforts in organizing agricultural extension convoys within the governorate, which aims to serve the community and develop the environment.

Dr. Desouky assigns the deans to intensify efforts, scientific research, seminars and workshops with the participation of students on the impact of climate change in order to find ways of adaptation and mitigation commensurate with the expected climate changes to reduce the burden on societies, at lower costs, and long-term social and environmental achievements that can be achieved via cooperation between various sectors and knowledge transfer between different faculties, by engaging non-academic stakeholders and different academic disciplines to work together to solve problems related to climate change.
