The Council of Deans confirms the Continuation of Participation in the "Dignified Life" Initiative and the National Literacy Project

 Today Tuesday 18/1/2022, The Deans Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, President of the University, holds its monthly meeting to discuss and review the monthly developments and topics presented to the Council, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hasan Younis, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Reda Saleh, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, Deans of Faculties and Secretary General of the University, Dr. Ali Sabry.

The council also reviews UI Green Metric World University Ranking for the year 2021, as Kafrelsheikh University occupies the second place in Africa and its progression to the place No 217th place globally, to add a new achievement to the series of achievements of the university that are still being achieved.

As well, the Deans Council has followed up the university’s efforts within the framework of the “Dignified Life”

initiative to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside,

and the university’s efforts and activities in the National Literacy Project because of its important role in achieving sustainable development in the state.

The President confirms the commitment to applying precautionary and preventive measures and maintaining social distancing, in order to preserve the public health of the university’s employees and the state’s efforts to confront the Corona pandemic.

Dr.Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky stresses directing scientific research to serve the community and working to transform research outputs into products capable of being manufactured in implementation of the vision of the political leadership to serve the goals of sustainable development and link scientific research with industry to meet the challenges of economic growth.

The Deans Council discusses the development of new programs in the undergraduate, bachelor’s and postgraduate levels to keep pace with the developments of global study systems, achieve the requirements of the modern labor market and accommodate its needs, as well as paying attention to scientific publishing to improve the university’s international ranking. 

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, President of the University, directs the deans of the faculties to follow up the work of the first semester examinations in all faculties and institutes of the university, to quickly complete the correction process, announce the results, and to ensure a safe environment and a psychological atmosphere suitable for students to perform the exams,

while taking all measures to preserve the health and safety of students and participants in the examinations.
