Kafrelsheikh University Ranks the Second Place Locally and No 501-600 Globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings

Today Monday 6/9/2021, the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky announces the progress of the university in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, as Kafrelsheikh University ranks the second place locally, No “501-600” globally, and No “103” in research citations globally.

The President Prof Abdelrazek Dosouky states that this ranking is a strong international recognition of the university's development in education and scientific research, noting that international rankings contribute significantly to improving the international reputation of the university in particular and Egypt in general in the field of higher education.

As well, the President explains that this ranking is one of the best international rankings and is based on a set of main indicators with a number of detailed sub-criteria, including the areas of: teaching, scientific research, international reputation, citations, research impact, community service, staff members, researchers, and international researches.

The president confirms that the university administration is keen to promote its rank in the international ranking of universities within the framework of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, to develop the higher education system in Egypt and raise the level of graduates of Egyptian universities to keep pace with graduates of international universities, thanking the academic leaders of the university, staff members, assistant staff, researchers, administrative body and those responsible for the ranking.
