The President Receives the Ambassador of Mauritania to discuss Cooperation in Education and Scientific Research

 Today Sunday 27/12/2020, the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Desouky receives the ambassador Wadady Ould Sidi Hiba, Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritania in Cairo, the permanent representative of the League of Arab States, accompanied by Dr Al-Mukhtar Gilani, the cultural attaché of the Embassy of Mauritania in Cairo, in order to strengthen the means of joint cooperation between both sides, especially in the field of education and scientific research in the presence of Prof Dr Hasan Youness, the vice president for post-graduation studies and research; Prof Dr Reda Salih, the vice president for community service and environment development and a number of deans.

During the meeting, the president expresses his happiness at the ambassador’s visit to the university, confirming the good relations with the Mauritanian side and all African countries, as the university opens its doors to students from all brotherly African countries to study at the university.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Mauritanian ambassador is assured of the academic conditions of the international students coming from the state of Mauritania, as the students express their happiness at being at Kafrelsheikh University.

The President accompanies the visiting delegation on a tour inside the university campus, Faculties of Dentistry and Science, Nano science and technology Institute and the University Hospital and the delegation also visits Faculty of Fisheries, fish farming ponds and fish farming and the farm of Faculty of Agriculture.

As well, the ambassador Wadady Ould Sidi Hiba, the Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritania in Cairo, confirms the university’s excellence in research and educational capabilities, and praises the model of Kafrelsheikh University and what it has achieved since its establishment and its capabilities in terms of interest in the aesthetic values ??within the campus and the distinguished infrastructure for education and scientific research, as well as the university’s distinction and ranking in international rankings.

He pointed out that what he sees today of the university’s development indicates the Egyptian state’s interest in education and scientific research and developing the spirit of innovation and creativity among the youth of Egyptian universities, stressing the students ’keenness to study at Kafrelsheikh University due to its distinctive academic structure and expressing his aspiration for more cooperation and the absorption of a greater number of Mauritanian students wishing to study at Kafrelsheikh University.

Otherwise, the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Desouky confirms that the university is always pleased to receive officials of Arab and African embassies, pointing to the university’s constant keenness to attract Arab and African students and pay attention to the conditions of all foreign students as they are ambassadors for Egypt in the field of education, and the university is working to qualify these students via providing a distinguished educational level and applying true educational quality standards for the graduate to benefit from during his scientific and practical life.

 

At the end of the visit, Mr Wadady Ould Sidi Hiba, Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritania in Cairo, presents the embassy's shield to the president of Kafrelsheikh University, and Dr Desouky also presents the University shield to the Mauritanian ambassador.
