The President Congratulates the Students and Stresses the Need to Implement the Precautionary Measures

 Today Saturday 17/10/2020, the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Desouki, accompanied by the vice president for education and students’ affairs, inspects in the first day of the new academic year the faculties in which the study begins today to ensure the progress of the educational process and the readiness of the auditoriums and laboratories and to ensure the cleanliness of faculties and green spaces and a series of introductory meetings for new students are scheduled to be held in various faculties.

During his tour, Dr Desouki meet the students, congratulate them on the beginning of the new academic year and welcome them in their second home at Kafrelsheikh University which is keen to provide the best educational and awareness environment for them, providing them with some important advice that helps them excel in their studies and complete their university year without any obstacles.

As well, the president directs the implementation of the strategic plan for hybrid education and adherence to the decisions of the Supreme Council of University within the framework of the directives of the President Abed El-Fattah El-Sisi and the state’s plan to work in the themes of Egypt vision 2030 with the aim of providing education for all without discrimination and improving the quality of education systems in line with global systems, improving competitiveness of education systems and outputs and linking the graduate to the labor market via developing curriculum.

The president stresses on implementing precautionary measures, which included disinfection and sterilization of the auditoriums before and between lectures, the system for students' attendance and departure, the system for receiving lessons, lectures and practical training in practical faculties, procedures for practicing activities, and the application of entry and exit procedures in batches between intervals to avoid crowding, maintaining physical distance of two meters in heavy-traffic areas and encouraging remote teaching as well as the procedures include determining the percentage of students based on the size of the university’s teaching halls and for teaching students of practical faculties, students are within "fixed" groups.

Otherwise, Dr Desouki urges male and female students on the necessity to participate in student activities and events that are held in the faculties because it enhances the spirit of cooperation and belonging among students, and also calls upon them to preserve their university and its facilities.

The university president also confirms the development of the educational process within all faculties to reach true quality at the level of university education and to develop the student's intellectual and cultural structure.

 

In the same context, the president gets reassured about student housing, housing junior and senior students, in addition to international students.
