 Today, Tuesday, the Council of Deans, headed by Dr. Abdelrazek Desouki, President of the University, holds its monthly meeting to discuss and review the monthly developments and topics presented to the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University, and the deans.

The Deans Council discusses the necessary preparations to hold the first semester exams for the students, in accordance with the timetable for the 2023/2024 academic year specified by the Supreme Council of Universities, and confirms adherence to the exam paper standards and the formation of committees of examiners and rewriters, and the commitment to participating in examinations and observations is also confirmed in accordance with the University Organization Law and its executive regulations and their amendments.

The President directs the deans to follow up on the continued implementation of educational and awareness programs and seminars to thwart negative phenomena and destructive, abnormal ideas, and to continue organizing field visits and student trips to national projects implemented by the state in various sectors to learn about the size of the projects that are being implemented in various parts of the Republic, to encourage and support the best research ideas and work to build the capabilities of young researchers in various scientific fields to prepare cadres capable of raising the level of scientific research, and confirming the continued encouragement of scientific research and studies that address confronting climate phenomena.

 

The Council also stresses the university’s keenness to continue active participation in medical convoys, which are not limited to being medical, but rather awareness and service convoys, aiming for effective community participation, and continuing to follow up on the activity of the community service and environmental development sector, and its role in the field of literacy and adult education, as well as organizing and launching comprehensive development convoys to the villages most in need within the presidential initiative, A Dignified Life.
