Kafrelsheikh University receives the Computer Science and Informatics Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, receives the Computer Science and Informatics Sector Committee, headed by Dr. Eman Tharwat, Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Cairo University; Dr. Yousry El-Gamal, former Minister of Education and member of the committee; Dr. Mohammed Hashem, Secretary of the Computer Sciences and Informatics Sector Committee; Dr. Osama Abu Saada, Dean of the Faculty of Computers, Kafrelsheikh University, and the deans of the faculties of computers and information at the level of Egyptian universities and professors of Computers and Information, and Artificial Intelligence from various universities and from private universities.

The President confirms that the faculties of Computers and Information, and Artificial Intelligence have become important faculties, as the state's approach is linked to paying attention to artificial intelligence and the development it is witnessing, and they are in dire need of qualified cadres from these faculties to keep pace with the tremendous development in information technology, pointing out that President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, pays great attention to this sector and its faculties, and the Faculty of Computers, Information and Artificial Intelligence is equipped with the latest devices, laboratories, to graduate cadres trained in artificial intelligence technology; to support Egypt's Vision 2030 and implement the goals of sustainable development.

The committee also visits the Faculty of Computers and Information and its student laboratories, auditoriums, classrooms, and specialized internet laboratories, the faculty’s academic regulations, its new programs, cooperation protocols in the fields of training, models of distinguished students, and a presentation of some student innovations that distinguish the Faculty of Computers and Information at Kafrelsheikh University from others were also discussed. Research projects for college students were also discussed.

 

The Committee of the Computer and Informatics Sector praises the scientific and academic level of the faculty and the cadres it possesses that serve the educational process and the presence of distinguished students who are able to keep pace with the technological development and the tremendous development the world is witnessing in the field of artificial intelligence.
