For the second day... Discussion and scientific sessions at the Middle East International Conference on Electrical Power Systems

The activities of the Twenty-third International Middle East Conference on Electrical Power Systems, for the second day, Wednesday 12/14/2022, which is organized by the Faculty of Engineering - Kafrelsheikh University at the Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel in Cairo

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Heliel, Dean of the Faculty and President of the Conference.

 

The President of Kafrelsheikh University thanked everyone who participated in the preparation and success of the conference, and said that the higher education and scientific research sector in Egypt enjoys the attention, support and follow-up of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic during the past years, and this led to an unprecedented quantitative and qualitative development, and was among the elements The system of higher education and scientific research, which witnessed remarkable development in spreading the culture of science and innovation.

Dr. Desouky stressed the keenness of the university administration to qualify its graduates for the local, regional and global labor market by updating study programs in line with global developments in the requirements of the labor market, indicating that the university aims to be a research university concerned with scientific research and not just a university that grants academic degrees only.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Heliel, Dean of the College of Engineering and Chairman of the Conference, added that the conference will discuss 139 participating scientific research, through 35 scientific sessions and 6 public lectures, in addition to organizing a large exhibition for the sponsors of the conference.

He explained that the conference sheds light on the latest research, studies and technologies in the field of electric power engineering, new and renewable energy, and discusses the most important issues related to the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity.

 

The conference is also an excellent international showcase for the dissemination of original research results, new ideas, and practical development experiences that focus on both the theoretical and practical aspects of academics, researchers, engineers, and industry professionals.
