The Faculty of Engineering is preparing to launch MEPCON2022 activities

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shaker Al-Marqabi, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek Youssef Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University

during the period from 13-15 December

This international conference comes in line with the interest of the state in general and the university in particular in scientific research. This conference is also the largest scientific conference specialized in the field of electric power engineering, new and renewable energy, and other related disciplines, and one of the oldest international conferences hosted by Egypt.

It is interested in shedding light on the latest research, studies and technologies in the field of electrical power engineering, new and renewable energy, discussing the most important issues related to the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, and presenting the latest findings of scientists, researchers, and engineers to develop, modernize and protect electrical networks, maintain their stability, and raise the quality of electrical supply to factories. , homes, and tourism and commercial projects

Prof. Abdel-Fattah Halil, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Chairman of the Conference, explained that the conference program includes a large number of scientific sessions to discuss accepted research after arbitration, in addition to lectures given by specialists from inside and outside Egypt. The activities include a discussion of everything related to electrical power engineering, starting from generation and then transmission. And ending with the distribution of electric power, and the associated means of control, and ways to raise efficiency and ways of prevention

The conference will also include an exhibition of the products of companies operating in the fields of electrical power engineering and sponsoring the conference.

The Dean also noted that such scientific conferences provide an opportunity for exchange and interaction between the experiences and achievements of scientific research in this field, presented in a distinct scientific way.
