The Faculty of Engineering is pleased to extend its sincere congratulations to Dr. Fathi Abdel-Azim Abdel-Magid Bassiouni (assistant lecturer in the Department of Physics and Engineering Mathematics) on the occasion of his promotion to the degree of a teacher in the department and wish him further success in his scientific career.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed that September 16 is the start date of university studies in implementation of the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities at its last meeting, and that there is absolutely no truth to the rumors published by some social networking sites about postponing university studies.

 

The Ministry of Higher Education said in a statement today that this decision is in accordance with the correct law of the organization of universities, which provides for the start of study in universities with the beginning of the third week of September each year.
