It gives me great pleasure and honor to warmly welcome you to the official website of Kafrelsheikh University; the home that brings us all together. Here, we work hand in hand toward a better future built on knowledge, innovation, and community service.

This distinguished academic institution was established in 2006 as a branch of Tanta University and later became an independent university by Presidential Decree. Since then, it has secured its position as one of the leading institutions of higher education and scientific research in the Nile Delta and the Arab region, contributing effectively to knowledge, economic, and social development at both the national and regional levels.

At Kafrelsheikh University, we firmly believe that education and scientific research are the main pillars of sustainable development and community service. We are committed to supporting Egypt’s Vision 2030 under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who has given unprecedented attention to higher education. Therefore, we strive to be a beacon of excellence in university education and research, providing a stimulating academic environment that encourages creativity and independent thinking. Our goal is to graduate students who are capable of facing future challenges and contributing to the knowledge economy through distinguished academic programs, impactful research, and strong local and international partnerships.

We are proud of the remarkable achievements the university has accomplished across various academic and research fields. We actively connect education with the labor market and community needs through strategic partnerships with industrial and research institutions. We remain committed to supporting innovation, expanding international cooperation, and providing our students with opportunities to participate in scientific research and community initiatives that contribute to the progress of our nation.

Today, thanks to the dedication of our faculty members, researchers, and students, the university holds advanced positions in international rankings. It includes more than 23 faculties and institutes, has launched its National University, and leads pioneering research initiatives in modern agriculture, aquaculture, medicine, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy. Our ambition is to be at the forefront of smart and sustainable universities.

Our vision goes beyond traditional education. We seek to build a knowledge-based community that promotes ethical values and sustainable development.
