The Dormitory:

- Instructions of joining the dormitory:

  1. The student should be regularly registered in one of Kafrelsheikh University Faculties, and the administrative council of the university dormitory has the ability to accept foreign certificated students.
  2. The student should not inhabit in Kafrelsheikh City, or any neighboring city, especially in case of easy transportations.
  3. The student should not be facing any punishments from Kafrelsheikh University or any other Egyptian Universities, especially during the preceding year.
  4. The student who has resided before in the dormitory should not be facing any punishment related to prohibiting residing in the dormitory in the next year.
  5. The student should have paid back all the previous fees.
  6. The student should be healthy according to documented certificate.
  7. The student should not be married.

Procedures of joining the university dormitory:

Classification bureau is opened for receiving the students' requests who wish to stay in the dormitory, depending on the Prof. Dr. The chief of the administrative council of the dormitories in the limited time dates, on behalf of the suggestion of the general administrator of the university dormitories. The classification bureau is selected from the employers in the general administration of the university dormitories and the assisting centers in the general administration too.
- The file of admission forms should contain:

  1. The form of admission in the dormitory.
  2. Two data collection cards and one acceptance notation card.
  3. Health certificate.
  4. Admission guide.

The file is sold to the students wishing to reside in the dormitory and the sum of the collected selling money in placed in a running account under the equality of the accounting unit of the university dormitories and this account is specialized for the following purposes:

  1. Printing and preparing this file.
  2. Maintaining the dormitories.
  3. Mending and renewing the furniture.
  4. Maintaining the transportation means of the dormitories.
  5. Students' activities residing in the dormitories.
  6. Any other purposes related to the dormitory students' services, which are documented by the university chief.
    1. The administrative council has the ability to limit all the financial accounts of selling the file to only one purpose.
    2. The student, who does not pay all the required fees in no more than two weeks after announcing the names of the residing students, is considered withdrawing from residing in the dormitory. As a result the following name may be substituted in case applying all the required conditions.
    3. The rejected students may be reaccepted again in case of excusing, depending on the professor doctor; manager of the administrative council of the dormitory.
    4. The students' residing period ends by the end of the final term exams in his/her faculty. The student has the ability to stay during the summer vacation if study requires to do so, but he/she should present a certificate that documents his/her need to study during the summer vacation, but without nutrition, and paying for each day twenty cents with a maximum of fifty pounds monthly for improving the services during that period.
    5. The acceptance is limited only to one university study year. The number of the residing students is determined by the beginning of each year, except for the final year students in faculty of medicine whose residence extends to the end of exams.

Rules constrictions of residing in the university dormitory:

The free rooms in the dormitory in determined by the beginning of each year and classified according to the following rules:

  1. (60%) of the free places in the dormitory are specialized for the old residing students during the previous year, in case they get no less than good rank in that year. And the female students who get acceptable rank as the general rank of that year, as well as those who pass the year but fail in only one or two subjects, as well as those who are transformed from other universities, but they should submit to the other conditions.
  2. (30%) of the free places are specialized for the freshmen students who are classified according to their residence locations and the number of transportation means taken to reach the faculty.
  3. (5%) of the free places are specialized for the unhealthy cases such as: (children paralysis, heart diseases and blind students, depending on the university hospital health reports which is documented by the university.
  4. (5%) of the free places are specialized for the social and human cases, depending on the approval of the administrative council and signed by the professor doctor university chief.
