Kafrelsheikh University is preparing for production of its official peer-reviewed scientific journal. The journal will be indexed in the Medline, and also it will be hosted by a famous international publisher. The Editorial board members with broad-based expertise will be editors from various countries including Egypt. The journal now invite Egyptian Editors to join the editorial broad with international Editors (already selected.

Major subject areas:

1- Animal Sciences

A broad range of research topics in animal production and fundamental aspects of genetics, nutrition, physiology, and preparation and utilization of animal products. Articles typically report research with beef cattle, companion animals, goats, horses, pigs, and sheep; however, studies involving other farm animals, aquatic and wildlife species, and laboratory animal species that address fundamental questions related to livestock and companion animal biology will be considered for publication.

2. Environmental Sciences

The journal will publish original papers on main aspects of environmental sciences, such as environmental chemistry, environmental biology, ecology, geosciences and environmental physics. Appropriate subjects include basic and applied research on atmospheric, terrestrial and aquatic environments, pollution control and abatement technology, conservation of natural resources, environmental health and toxicology.

This section will cover all areas of renewable and sustainable energy-related fields that apply to the chemical, physical science and engineering communities such as: dye-sensitized solar cells, Bioenergy – bioreactions and bioengineering, Geothermal energy – geysers, heat pumps, and novel devices, Marine and hydroelectric energy – waves, tides, and dams, Nuclear energy – fission, fusion, and related materials, Solar energy – photovoltaics and solar thermal converters, Wind energy – turbines and electrical systems and controls, Energy conversion .

7. Engineering Sciences

The journal publishes a wide range of research and application papers which describe fundamental and applied research in manufacturing at the systems level - the processing techniques used in manufacturing components from metals and other materials - the generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy- construction and building materials - Energy efficient buildings – photovoltaics, solar thermal converters, and passive solar approaches, Energy storage – hydrogen and batteries, Power distribution – conventional and superconducting transmission, fluctuating, loads, and controls, Renewable energy resource assessment Transportation – hydrogen, batteries, fuel cells, bioenergy, and vehicles.
Selection Process:
Preference will be absolutely given to candidates who have the following criteria:

• Previous experiences as editor or reviewer in international journals.
• Strong publication record in impacted international journals within the last five years.
• Highly educated candidates with broad-based expertise and has strong scientific cooperation with international research organization.
