1.      Development of Nanostructured Ti-based Alloy for Biomedical Applications by Powder Metallurgy and Novel Sintering Technologies, Funded by: KFUPM, Role: Co-PI and part of my PhD, March 2014- present. Project output:( 2 ISI journal papers +1 US patent (filled)

 

2.      Synthesis of Novel Metastable Phases from Immiscible Metals, Funded by: KFUPM, Role: part of my PhD, 2011- March 2013. Project output:( 3 ISI journal papers +1 US patent (filled)

 

3.      Electrochemical investigations on the role of Si in ferritic stainless steel alloys, Funded by: KFUPM, Role: Development (Synthesis and characterization) of ferritic stainless steel alloys Project output :( 2 submitted paper+1 papers under preparation).

 

4.      Development of austenitic stainless steels with PM routes and their Electrochemical investigations, ,  Funded by: KFUPM  , Role: Development (Synthesis and characterization) of austenitic stainless steel alloys Project output:( 1 submitted paper+1 papers  under preparation).

 

         Current projects:

  1. Production of Ti-Nb-Zr alloys as medical implants by powder metallurgy and surface enhancement, 15-ADV4632-04, Funded by: KACST-NSTIP, Role: Co-PI (Recently Approved-2 papers under preparation), , March, 2016-March-2018.

 

6.      Development of ceramic-based membranes for water treatment applications”, funded by: KACST-NSTIP, September 2014-present, Role: Development (Synthesis and characterization) of the membranes (I joined this project, September, 1, 2015) progress Project output :( Abstract accepted MRS+ 2 papers and patent under preparation).
