-       The effect of sewage sludge application to agricultural crops: a management strategy (Project number: G.R.P-7-38) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (March 2017 – September 2017).

-       The effects of different sewage sludge amendment rates on the soil properties, heavy metal bioaccumulation, productivity and biochemical properties of cultivated crops (Project number: R.G.P.1/14/38) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (October 2017 – October 2018).

-       Evaluation of the potential of sewage sludge as an organic fertilizer for some cultivated crops (Project number: R.G.P.1/14/40) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (January 2019 – January 2020).

-       Effect of land-use change on the soil organic carbon stock in mangrove forests along the southern Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia to mitigate climate change (Project number: G.R.P-117-39) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (February 2019 – July 2019).

-       Effect of land-use change on the soil organic carbon stock in wetlands such as mangrove forests along Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia to mitigate climate change (Project number: G.R.P-52-40) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (March 2019 – September 2019).

-       Recycling of sewage sludge into eco-friendly bio-fertilizer for sustainable agriculture (Project number: IFP-KKU-2020/3) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (November 2020 – May 2022).

 

2- Working as a research assistant in the following projects:

-   Conservation and sustainable use of medicinal plants in arid and semi-arid ecosystem in Egypt (April 2004 - August 2004) granted by UNDP and GEF, and implemented by Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA), Cairo, Egypt.

-   Conservation and sustainable use of medicinal plants (March 2005 -September 2005) granted by UNDP and GEF, and implemented by Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA), Cairo, Egypt.

-       Impact of Jazan Economic City (JEC) on mangrove forests at Baish – Jazan (Project number: G.R.P-280-38) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (March 2017 – September 2017).

-       The effects of different sewage sludge amendment rates on biochemical properties of cultivated crops (Project number: R.G.P.1/73/40) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (January 2019 – January 2020).

-       Monitoring information system for some natural resources in southern region of Saudi Arabia using remote sensing data (Project number: R.G.P.1/94/40) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (January 2019 – January 2020). 

-       The evaluation of sewage sludge application as a fertilizer for some cultivated crops (Project number: R.G.P. 1/109/40) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (March 2019 – March 2020).

-         Urban Growth, Land Cover, Land Use Changes, Groundwater and Water Harvesting using New Technologies (Remote Sensing, GIS, GPS, Laser Scanning) in Saudi Arabia (Project number: R.G.P. 2/56/40) granted by King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia (June 2019 – June 2020).
