of Engineering Affairs
The goals and specialization of General Administration of Engineering
Affairs:
1) Engineering and technical supervision on
university facilities and the supervision on the procedures of its receipt or
modifying it according to the demands of competent authorities
2) Participation with the officials in
university in putting public policies in the engineering fields
3) Feasibility study take the responsibilities
of engineering projects in the university
4) Supervision on studies of the needs of
university of buildings, land and various mechanical, electrical, engineering
equipment and machines.
5) Participation in university constructions
committee
6) Supervision on works related to collect and
limit the works of annual amra in the faculties, units in preparation to be
presented over university construction committee
7) Contacting with the consulting and
engineering offices and with negotiation processes which are made with
maintenance companies.
8) Supervision on all procedures of public
tenders to determine the annual contractors of university and after the
decision of university constructions special for the division of faculties,
public administration and its units to areas of work and distribute the annual
contractors to these area and the concerned authorities will be notified
9) Overseeing the follow up implementation of
facilities in accordance with the contracts and make the necessary contacts to
accomplish.
10) Follow up the works related to the notification
of faculties and units about the works that the committee of university
constructions committee has agreed to implement
11) Participation with university leaders in
putting the public policy for the university in the field of engineering
affairs and putting the program and plan that it ensure to achieve
12) Supervision on the performance of work
special for the fields of general management for engineering affairs
13) Putting the rules and systems of receipt of
processes related to the activity of management handled by external authorities
and to ensure compliance with the specifications and conditions of contracts.
14) Develop programs and plans of maintenance
of university facilities and identified it as agreed with the working
conditions of the university.
15) Contacting with companies and consulting
offices entrusted with conducting consulting processes of engineering deeds and
following up its implementation and ensuring that they conform to the described
conditions.
16) Representing the university in seminars and
conferences held in the fields of general management of engineering affairs to
benefit from
17) Contacting with nationalist nature
authorities that organize the work in the fields of engineering affairs
18) Contributing to feasibility study of
university projects especially constructions or restoration work and
maintenance
19) Supervision on determining the needs of
managements of general management of engineering affairs of equipment and
supplies and participation in this for the main university sectors that its work
links to engineering affairs
20) Presenting reports for the university
leaders about the progress of the work and the extent of its regularity
according to the contracts with companies or internal plans in this matter.
21) Supervision on putting plans of decorating
the campus and increasing the amount of green space in accordance with the
sanctity and status of the university as educational and research authority
that serve the community.
22) Supervision on the application of labor
systems that ensure the provision of professional safety and health for employees in general management of
engineering affairs
23) Working to increase the efficiency of
employees in the general management of engineering affairs to ensure the raise
of the level of performance
24) Doing what entrusted with supervisory and
consulting work within the university.
