Post-graduation studies and research council agrees on Sunday 16/2/2014 under the authority of the vice president for post-graduation studies and research Prof Dr el Saied Mohamed Hegazi the letter of the Faculty of Commerce about the approval of the faculty council on Sunday 12/1/2014 for the necessary of international publication as mandatory requirement for Master's Degree and Doctorate from the registration of 2013/2014 (publication of research or its acceptance for publication) and the necessary of passing course of the preparation of competitive research projects for doctorate students (and the course of international publication for scientific researches for Master's Degree) as one of terms for forming judgment and discussion committees for students registered in the academic year 2013/2014. This will apply for all faculties and the council thanks the Faculty of Commerce for its interest about international publication.

As well, the council agrees the following:

1)      The postponement of the international Textile Conference (Smartex) which was scheduled to take place during November 2014 to be held on 23- 25 November 2015, and so there will be enough time to prepare for the new website and make the arrangements and the necessary equipment for the conference as well until it will be held in the Faculty of Specific Education, in the new campus of Kafrelsheikh University.

2)      The Faculty of Science hosts Prof Dr Winestar Vavian Maza Faly, the manager of strategy in Universidad Tecnia de Machala in Ecuador for  a week from 15/4/2014 until 15/5/2014 to visit the university and discourse a lecture in the faculty as well as hold scientific exchange between two universities.

3)      The research Mohamed Awni Basiouni el Nagar, administrator in Business Administration Department "English" in the Faculty of Commerce, is granted study vacation to execute scholarship in which he nominates from the Faculty of Public Polices in American University in cooperation with Ford Institution in Egyptian governmental universities to finish the study of Master's Degree in American University in Cairo for a year from February 2014.

4)      The travel of Dr Farahat Saad el Saied Ibrahim Magnim, lecturer in Soil Department in the Faculty of Agriculture, to Russia for six months from the date of departure to execute scientific mission in which he nominates by competitive system by the approval of the minister of higher education from the grievances of the first year 2012/2013 of the Seventh Five Year Plan 2012-2017.

5)      The travel of Dr Mohamed Ali Ali Sharf el Deen, lecturer in Horticulture Department in the Faculty of Agriculture, for four months from the date of departure during April 2014 to execute scientific mission at the expense of donor without the expenses of the university and faculty.

6)       Dr Ayman Ragab Fatoh el Sabbakh, lecturer in Soil Department in the Faculty of Agriculture and the member of scientific mission at the expense of missions in Japan asks to extend his period abroad for six months from 1/5/2014 to execute scientific mission granted from Hiroshima University at the expense of the donor without the expenses of the university and faculty.
