1)    The First International Textile Conference

     Under the authority of the minister of higher education and the president, the university is honored to invite you to attend the first international textile conference (smartex-2011) that is organized within the mutual cooperation between Kafrelsheikh University and Ivanovo Academy for textile in Russia by the faculty of Specific Education from 22-24 November 2011 in the Development and Information Center.

The conference events begin on Tuesday 22/11/2011 by presenting the republic peace and the opening speech is for:

1.      The coordinator is Prof Dr el Saied el Nashar, the agent of the faculty of Specific Education.

2.     The conference head Prof Dr Ibrahim Amman, the vice president for the affairs of post graduation studies and research.

3.     Prof Dr Maged el Kemary, the president.

4.     Prof Dr Gregory Kristobrodov, the head of Ivanovo Textile Academy in Russia.

5.     Eng Ahmed Zaki Abdeen, the mayor of Kafrleshieikh Province.

It is in the presence of participants in the conference from (Russia, America, India, Czech, Slovenia and Turkey) and the vices of president, the general secretary of university, staff, assistant organization and employees in the university).

The sessions are held on Wednesday and Thursday 23/24/2012

On the sideline of conference, an art fair is held for the students’ works in the field of forming metals, making carpets and another different works in terms of quality and size.

 

2)    A Seminar about the Intellectual Property Rights:

     A seminar was held on 30 May 2011 about the intellectual property rights in Kafrelsheikh University with the Research Academy under the authority of the president Prof Dr Fawzi Turk and group of deans, professors and students.

The president assured the importance of patent office in research and technology academy to benefit from patent office for employees in research centers and universities.

   Moreover, Prof Dr Ibrahim Mohamed Amman, the vice president for post graduation and studies, adds that the role of patent office is extinguishing to encourage the researchers to benefit from the research results and not to let the opportunity for pirates or rouges to steal their scientific efforts and they will establish confluence for the university with the research academy to present services for researchers and to make them aware of getting number of deposit from patent office and to spread awareness among staff members about the intellectual property and how to protect it.

3)    A Seminar “The systems of higher education in the competitive era”:

The second seminar is held in the Comparative Education and educational management entitled:

“The Systems of Higher Education in Competitive Era”

On Tuesday 26/4/2011 and the seminar is talking about the following topics:

4)    A Seminar “Future Vision for the advancement of Oil Crops”

Under the authority of the president Prof Dr Fawzi Ali Turk and the dean of the faculty of Agriculture and with the contribution of Incentives World organization for trade (Eng Mohamed Essam el Mahdi, the technical manager, a seminar was held on Tuesday 12/4/2011 entitled:

“Future Vision for the advancement of Oil Crops”

        The themes of seminar:

1)    The importance of oil crops in animal food and cloth.

2)    The current situation for Egypt’s need and consumption of oil crops.

3)    The prospects of production and suggested future for the production of oil crops.

4)    They raise and improve oil crops.

5)    A seminar “Nano Technology”:

The faculty of Science organizes a seminar entitled” Grapheme for Photo thermal Energy Conversion and novel catalysis” on Sunday 2/1/2011 in the development and information center in the hall (605) at 1 pm. Moreover, Prof Dr Mohamed Sami el Shal, the professor of Virginia University in the United States of America discourses a seminar about the importance and application of Nanotechnology and Grapheme.

 

6)    A Seminar Entitled “Nanotechnology and its Applications””:

A seminar entitled “Nanotechnology and its application” is organized by the economic pesticides with the scientific association for the environment protection under the authority of the president Prof Dr Fawzi Turk and the dean of the faculty of Agriculture on Wednesday 8/12/20120 in the conferences hall.

7)    A Seminar entitled “Nanotechnology is the Next Dazzling Future”

    The faculty of science held a seminar on Thursday 25/11/2010 entitled “nanotechnology is the next dazzling future” and Prof Dr Maged el Kemary, the dean of the faculty of Science opened the seminar, welcomed the attendants and thanked the Egyptian universities that broadcast the events on air by video conference. Moreover, he announced that the seminar goal is to spread the culture and techniques of nanotechnology and to inspire the researchers to enter Nanotechnology world and this seminar should be followed by scientific steps from researchers and officials. Besides, the features of future projects will be clear and they should benefit from the researchers’ experience in Nanotechnology unit in the faculty. He appeals the officials and business sector to support funding and moral support for establishing Nanotechnology units in Egyptian universities through buying equipment and preparing specialists cadres in all scientific, medical and engineering fields.

     On the other hand, Prof Dr Mona Bakr reviews the future applications for Nanotechnology in energy, environment, health, industry, electronics and Egyptian and international experiments in developing the future industries and Nano applications.

Prof Dr Adel Haider, the vice president, honored Prof Dr Mona Bakr for winning encouragement state prize in science this year.

 

The recommendations:

1)    Nanotechnology is a science that affects all sides of life and has a social effect on human and may be education and manpower; they are the most effect sides, so they should enter Nanotechnology concepts in the stage of education before university.

2)    Nanotechnology should be mandatory subject for Master’s degree and PHD in different scientific, engineering and medical departments and what is suitable for needs of departments.

3)    Public Edification in Nanotechnology through conferences, seminars and media (print and audio).

4)    The speed of establishing Nanotechnology unit in Egyptian universities.

5)    The coordination between the following specialisms: Chemistry, Physics, life science, Agriculture and Engineering to do mutual researches in the field of Nanotechnology and the results will be directed to support and develop the production sector.

 

 

8)    A Seminar Entitled “The Educational Contents for the Popular Inheritance”

Under the authority of Prof Dr Fawzi Turk, the president and Prof Dr Ibrahim Amman, the vice president for post graduation studies and research, and under the chairmanship of Prof Dr Amal Abed el Sami Abaza, the dean of the faculty of Education, a seminar held and organized by the Education Fundamentals Department entitled “The Educational Contents for the Popular Inheritance” on 5/5/2010. Moreover, Dr Rania Abed el Moaz el Gammal, the lecturer in Kindergarten University, discourses a lecture about folklore and fiction and environmental story for children and Dr Enas Saed el Shethi, the lecturer of fosterling in Munofia University; Dr Ibrahim Hasan Hussein, the member of book union and the researcher of education fundamentals and Dr Nasser Ali Mohamed, the lecturer of curriculum and teaching methods in evaluation and exam center and the seminar’s recommendations are the following:

1)    They should take care of what the popular inheritance contain of educational contents as the inheritance is nation’s memory.

2)    The popular heritage should be subjected to the rational look to purify the popular tradition of the negative matters to be suitable to the changes of ages.

3)    They should activate positive and shiny sides of popular tradition to support cultural privacy for Egyptians.

4)    They consider the popular tradition human experiences, within Arts, Literature and social and natural sciences, which happened in historical, social and cognitive context, but it is not sacred.

5)    They should emphasize that the true religion (Holy Quran and Sunnah) is scared matters and their scriptures are beyond time and place.

6)     They should reconsider the vision which its owners adopt total elimination for the inheritance and assure that this elimination is a gate for progress as they will adopt all western civilization because it is complete substitute for the civilizational progress.

7)    They also should reconsider the vision that its owners call for total elimination with modern civilization as they sees that when they depend only on popular cultural inheritance, it represents a project for nation’s renaissance.

8)    They assures that the popular inheritance with its features relates to piety and Arabism in the cultural meaning, rationality,  scientific thinking and moderation that represents important pillar for determining the features of education philosophy and human nature which they want to rear.

9)    The importance of inclusion the curriculums the positive matters in the popular inheritance that ship the nation with national pride.

10)   They should simplify the popular tradition and present it to children through fiction and legends that improve children’s imagination as imagination is the gate for creativity.

 

9)    A Seminar “Geography and Community Service”

     Under the authority of the president, the faculty of Arts held a seminar entitled “Geography and Community Service” in Geography and Geographic Information Systems Department on Wednesday 14/4/2010 in the hall (605) in Development and Information Center.

 

 

10)  A Seminar “Philosophy and Globalization Challenges”

       Under the authority of the president Fawzi Turk, the vice president for the affairs of post graduation studies and research, and the dean of the faculty of Arts, a seminar entitled “Philosophy and Globalization challenges” was held on Saturday 13/3/2010 at 11 am in Development and Information Center in which Prof Dr Giuseppe Skatoleni, the Professor of Islamic Sufism for the pontifical institution for Islamic and Arab studies in Rome; Prof Dr Zeinab Afifi, the previous dean of the faculty of Arts in Munofia University and the Islamic Philosophy discourse. The rapporteur is Dr Mahmoud el Shenawi, the assistant professor of Philosophy and Prof Dr Ibrahim Turki, the agent for post graduation studies and research. 

 

11)  A Day for Humanities

    A Day was chosen through Science and Technology Development Fund for the definition of humanities and how to apply for research projects financed by fund. Dr Reem el Khudari, the official of social sciences and humanities for Science and Technology Development Fund, will discourse in it on March in the hall (605) in Development and Information Center and order of the day has announced later.

Arabic language Department held a seminar entitled (Arabic Language and Age Challenges) on Thursday 5/3/2009 in the university theatre in the faculty of Commerce.

       Under the authority of Eng Ahmed Zaki Abedeen, the mayor of Kafrelsheikh University; Prof Dr Fawzi Ali Turk, the president and Prof Dr Fouad Mohamed el Agmi, the vice president for community service and environment development with the Egyptian media men Association,  the seminar of swine flu was held on Wednesday 1/7/2009 in the occasions hall.
