The Nanotechnology Center at Kaferelsheikh University was founded in 2012 by Prof. Dr. Maged El-Kemary, professor of photochemistry and nanomaterial science, in line with the philosophy of Kaferelsheikh University. The center is dedicated to achieve academic excellence, innovative research, and capacity building in all areas of nanotechnology. The goal of the center is to encourage the research in nanotechnology applications and establish an environment for scientists from disciplinary science areas to conduct collaborative research.

Located at the faculty of science building, the center aspiration is to educate a new generation from the highly qualified students to different Egyptian economy sectors. With the knowledge of the most advanced techniques, spirit of scientific thinking, scientific and ethical solve problems skills; nanotechnology center is contributed to Egyptian economy progress and society prosperity.
