Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, announces that the university wins the second place, a silver medal in the Roman wrestling game, weighing 82 kg, and the third place, the bronze medal, weighing 63 kg, within the Egyptian Universities and Institutes Championship, the 50th session, “The Martyr El-Rifai.”, under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Dr. Mohamed Sobhy Hassanein, Vice Head of the Sports Federation of Egyptian Universities and Institutes.

The president congratulates the winning students for their honorable participation, praising the distinguished and creative youth of the university in various sports, cultural and scientific fields and competitions, explaining the university's keenness to pay attention to all sports and physical activities, and to promote the concept of fair competition among students.

Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, says that the student, Mohamed El-Qasim Diab, at the Faculty of Physical Education, wins the second place and the silver medal in Romanian wrestling, weighing 82 kg and the student Hassan Abu Ghannam Hassan, Faculty of Nursing, weighing 63 kg, wins the third place and the bronze medal, under the supervision of Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, and the sports teams are supervised by the Department of Sports Activity at the General Administration of Youth Welfare at the university, Yasser Lotfi El-Prince, Director of the Department of Sports Activity, and the team supervisor, Captain Mahmoud Essam Hanbal.
