Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, makes an inspection tour of the emergency hospital building, to find out the latest developments in the construction situation and follow up the stages of project implementation within the framework of the second phase of establishing the medical city at the university, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University; Dr. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Hatem Al-Gohary, Director of the University Hospital; Dr. Abd El-Fattah Heleil, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and officials of the National Contracting Company (National Service Projects Agency).

During his tour, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, confirms that the emergency hospital building is about to be completed soon, as the University is racing against time to complete this great dream within the framework of completing the medical system and upgrading it by establishing new hospitals with necessary and urgent specialties, in implementation of the directives of President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, who, since assuming responsibility, has given great importance to the health sector as it is one of the most important files that serve the citizen, and in line with the aspirations of the new republic.

The president adds that the emergency hospital is a major achievement for the medical sector in the governorate and is the dream of the people of Kafrelsheikh, instead of moving to emergency hospitals in neighboring governorates, confirming that the total cost of the emergency hospital amounts to one billion six hundred million pounds, including equipment, pointing out that the project will provide distinguished medical service to the Delta governorates and is also considered a national project for Kafrelsheikh Governorate.
