·         The Prime Minister issues a resolution No 1142 for the year 1988 about the establishment of this sector in Egyptian universities.

·         The Prime Minister issues a resolution No 1848 for the year 2006 about appointing Prof Dr Fouad Mohamed Ahmed el Agmi as the vice president for the affairs of community service and environment development for four years from 7/10/2006.

·         The Prime Minister issues a resolution for the year 2010 about appointing Prof Dr Jamal Ahmed el Sayyad, the vice president for this president for four years on 7/10/2010.

1)    Supervision over the preparation of plans and programs that ensure the achievement of university role in community service and environment development.

2)    Supervision over special units' affairs that present its services for non-students except university hospitals.

3)    Supervision over university facilities that present services for non-students.

4)    Supervision over the execution of training programs for employees in government and special sector either continuous training or training courses.

5)    Supervision over technical and vocational training for public.

6)    Supervision over conferences, scientific courses and public lectures for community service and environment development.
