In a new achievement that adds to the Faculty of Specific Education at Kafrelsheikh University's distinguished record of excellence and leadership, the Faculty has proudly secured First Place in the "Best Environmentally Friendly Faculty" Competition for the 2025–2026 academic year. This remarkable accomplishment once again demonstrates the Faculty's ability to transform the principles of sustainability and environmental protection into tangible practices and a firmly established institutional culture embraced by all members of the Faculty.
This achievement was realized under the patronage of Professor Yehia Zakaria Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University, and Professor Amani Mohamed Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Professor Naglaa Hosni Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Professor Rasha Abdullah Gawish, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Professor Naglaa Hosni Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty, expressed her great pride and delight in the Faculty's first-place achievement, emphasizing that this success is the result of sincere efforts, continuous dedication, and productive cooperation among all sectors of the Faculty. She affirmed that the award reflects the Faculty's highly qualified and dedicated personnel, whose commitment, creativity, and professionalism have enabled the Faculty to achieve excellence and leadership across various fields.
She also extended her heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, headed by Professor Rasha Abdullah Gawish, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; the Green Office, led by Professor Amira Ahmed Fouad, Director of the Green Office; as well as all members of the Green Office, the coordinators of the competition criteria, faculty members, teaching assistants, and administrative staff. She commended their outstanding efforts, tireless work, dedication, and commitment, which played a pivotal role in achieving this distinguished accomplishment.
Professor Al-Ashraf further emphasized that winning first place was not the result of a single moment or a coincidence, but rather the outcome of a comprehensive vision and well-planned institutional efforts aimed at promoting the efficient use of resources, encouraging environmentally responsible practices, fostering a culture of sustainability and recycling, and maintaining a safe, clean, and inspiring university environment that supports creativity and productivity.
