Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yehia Zakaria Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University; Professor Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Professor Dr. Amani Mohamed Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Naglaa Hosny Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education; Professor Dr. Samir Ahmed Qahouf, Head of the Department of Educational Technology and Computer Science; Professor Dr. Mohamed Redwan Abu Hashish, Coordinator of the English-Language Computer Teacher Preparation Program; Professor Dr. Tamer Mohamed Kamel, Associate Professor of Educational Technology and Computer Science; and Dr. Nagwa El-Shamy, Lecturer at the Department of Educational Technology and Computer Science, the Faculty of Specific Education at Kafrelsheikh University witnessed a remarkable launch of graduation projects presented by students of the distinguished English-Language Computer Teacher Preparation Program.
The projects reflected an advanced level of creativity, innovation, and the ability to employ artificial intelligence technologies to serve society, enhance the educational process, and support digital transformation.
The project “ACAD EXA – Smart Academic Advisor” introduced an intelligent model for supporting academic advising through the analysis of academic records, identification of academic challenges and graduation risks, and the generation of accurate and rapid reports using data analytics and artificial intelligence technologies. The project contributes to improving the quality of the educational process and enhancing the efficiency of academic monitoring and student follow-up, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Tamer Mohamed Kamel.
Students also presented the project “Smarty – The Smart AI Glasses,” an innovative step toward integrating artificial intelligence into everyday life through the design of smart glasses capable of reading and translating texts and analyzing real-time scenes using OCR technologies and Gemini AI. The results are converted into audio delivered directly to Bluetooth headphones, supporting multiple user groups and reflecting an advanced futuristic vision of human-centered technology. The project was supervised by Professor Dr. Tamer Mohamed Kamel and Dr. Nagwa El-Shamy.
In the context of innovation within smart work environments, the project “Za3ter – GPT-5 Powered Office Assistant” introduced an advanced office assistant powered by GPT-5 technologies to perform office tasks, manage schedules and appointments, and enable intelligent voice interaction within the workplace. The project demonstrated students’ awareness of the latest global technological trends and their ability to provide practical and applicable solutions, under the supervision of Dr. Nagwa El-Shamy.
Professor Dr. Naglaa Hosny Al-Ashraf, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education at Kafrelsheikh University, affirmed that these projects represent an honorable model of the promising talents and distinguished capabilities possessed by the faculty’s students in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. She emphasized that the faculty will continue to support every innovative idea that contributes to building a generation capable of shaping the future and competing strongly in both local and international labor markets, stressing that today’s achievements mark a true beginning to a journey of success worthy of pride and recognitio
