The Department of Home Economics offers a set of intentional and systematic educational opportunities aimed at preparing Home Economics teachers professionally through a range of specialized courses and related activities in Nutrition and Food Sciences, Clothing and Textiles, and Family and Home Management, in addition to educational and cultural sciences and field training.
