The Decisions of deans’ council


The deans’ council No 33 on 14/5/2012 takes decisions as the following:

1)    The development of innovation means to increase the own recourses, think for non traditional solutions and return to the same faculties in the other universities, then start from which the others have ended.

2)    The report of (the national education, research and technology center) to increase the research activity in the faculties in the fields of modern science through providing the suitable environment for research, creativity and the overcome of difficulties. The priority is in the following fields:

 

A)    New and renewable energy technology.

B)    Desalination technology.

C)    Nano Technology.

D)    Medicine technology.

E)    Food and agriculture.

F)    Biotechnology and genetic engineering.

G)    New resources technology.

H)    Electronics and minute optical photons.

 

3)    It is not allowed to occupy temporary workers for the research projects, the general service centers and special units except if it is presented over the president and he agrees.

4)    It is not allowed to address any organization outside the university except if there is coordination with the president.

5)    The accreditation of faculties’ councils or committees from the university council after the date of meeting for a week.
