The University Council praises the Advanced Positions achieved by the University in all International Rankings

 Today, Tuesday, the University Council, headed by Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session in the Council Hall, to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the developments and topics presented to the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary-General of the University, the deans of the faculties, the Counselor Abd Allah Ghallab, the university’s legal advisor, and Dr. Muhammad Abu Wali, Director of the Quality Assurance Center.

The University Council reviews the Shanghai ranking and the university’s achievement of advanced positions in the ranking, emphasizing the continuation of the university’s distinction in all fields and working for the university to reach the best advanced positions in all international rankings. This confirms that success is based on a long-term vision, strategy and plans and is not the result of coincidence, stressing that this distinction is the result of the efforts of the university and its members with the aim of continuously developing the regulations and mechanisms for promoting scientific research and the continuous efforts made by the university administration in all fields.

The president praises the great efforts made by the political leadership in providing all services to citizens through the presidential initiatives it launches to improve the quality and standard of life of citizens and provide for their requirements and needs.

 

The President also directs to intensify the university’s efforts, stressing that the university will continue to launch medical, veterinary and agricultural convoys, educational seminars, and various events and activities, and to contribute positively to building capabilities in the health, environmental, veterinary and social fields, in cooperation with the “Dignified Life” initiative, to activate the university’s role in community service and environmental development at the governorate level.
