A series of Awareness Symposiums in Student Housing on (Rooting National Identity - National Projects)

The General Administration of Student Welfare organizes a series of awareness symposiums in Student Housing, which revolves around the topic (rooting national identity - national projects), with the aim of enhancing belonging among students, as identity works on the individual’s self-esteem, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, and Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and the follow-up and organization of the General Administration of Student Welfare at the University.

The president also confirms that the university seeks to hold such important symposiums consequently, to acquaint university students with the importance of the projects established by the Egyptian state within the new republic, adding that, through the boom that Egypt is witnessing in all fields, students should know everything about the renaissance taking place in Egypt during recent years, how to benefit from it and add to it in the future, and to exercise their role and duty in support, assistance and active participation and confront all rumors that seek to reduce the magnitude of the unprecedented achievements within the new republic.

Otherwise, Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, indicates that the university is always keen to pay attention to building the student’s personality, providing courses for students, and organizing seminars that aim to support the university student and help him build his personality and learn about his skills, pointing out that the aim of these seminars is to strengthen the students’ national identity, instill belonging to the homeland, and deepen their concept of loyalty.

 

Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, lectures at the symposiums which revolves around the importance of preserving the history and heritage of the Egyptian state, as any country’s history is closely linked to national identity, in order to make good investments in creative minds, as the homeland is home and identity, and a person without an identity is a creature wandering the earth without a soul or purpose. The lectures also discusses in detail many of the major achievements and projects that took place on the land of Egypt, and the extent of their importance at the present time and in building the future and highlighting the motivations for students to participate positively in the future after their graduation and supporting them to achieve their personal and national ambitions.
