University Students shine in the Huawei ICT Competition

 Under the auspices of Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, and the supervision of Dr. Tamer Medhat, Director of the Huawei Training Academy at the university, and Dr. Mahmoud Yassin Shams El Din, Director of the Huawei Training Academy, the student Mahmoud Atef Abd El Hamid Abd El Ati, Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, wins the first place at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the second at the level of the continent Africa, with a team consisting of two other students from Mansoura University in the global stage of the (Huawei ICT competition 2022/2023) to secure a seat for Egypt in the final stage of the global competition held in China from among 3 available seats for the African continent.

Thus, the Egyptian team will be the only qualified in the Cloud Track in the competition that Huawei annually holds among four Egyptian teams and more than 30 different teams consisting of 90 male and female students from African countries (Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Mali, Senegal, Morocco, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Libya, Cape Verde).

The Student Ahmed Ali Abdel Halim Omar also wins the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, among the Egyptian teams that are competing for a seat to ensure Egypt's qualification to the global stage. His team got the third level at the level of Egypt and the fifth at the level of the African continent.

 

It is worth noting that the Huawei Global Competition aims to develop the technical skills of young people, build trained and qualified cadres in the field of information technology, and develop them to meet the needs of the local and global labor market, through the use of new technologies.
