Prof. Yahya Eid, President of Kafrelsheikh University, receives Dr. Salim Mousa Al-Talouli, Director of Universities’ Affairs and Student Activities at the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Cairo. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations, explore the university’s educational and research capabilities, and support Palestinian students studying at the university.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Yahya Eid welcomes Dr. Salim Mousa Al-Talouli, affirming the deep fraternal and historical relations between Egypt and Palestine. He confirms that supporting international students, especially Palestinian brothers and sisters, is a top priority for the university, stemming from its national and humanitarian role.
Prof. Yahya Eid adds that the university continuously seeks to develop its educational and research system in accordance with the latest international standards. He highlights that the university’s various faculties are equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and technologies that support the educational process and scientific research, noting that the university’s doors are always open to enhance cooperation with Palestinian educational institutions in ways that serve the students’ interests.
He expresses the university’s pride in hosting a number of outstanding Palestinian students who represent an honorable model of diligence and dedication, and affirms the university’s commitment to providing them with full academic and social care.
Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim states that the university possesses a strong infrastructure in postgraduate studies and scientific research and seeks to strengthen scientific cooperation with various Arab universities to exchange expertise and support scientific research.
Otherwise, Dr. Salim Mousa Al-Talouli expresses his pleasure at visiting Kafrelsheikh University, praising the significant progress he observed in its educational and research capabilities. He conveys the greetings of Ambassador Diab Al-Louh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Cultural Counselor Naji Al-Naji. He also affirms the embassy’s commitment to following up the conditions of Palestinian students and providing them with necessary support in coordination with the university.
The visit program includes an expanded meeting with Palestinian students in the conference hall. The students express their deep satisfaction with the support and care provided by Kafrelsheikh University. They praise the university administration’s commitment to meeting their needs and removing any obstacles they may face during their studies. They also present a commemorative shield to Prof. Yahya Eid in appreciation of his continuous efforts in supporting them.
Following the meeting, the delegation conducts a tour of the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Artificial Intelligence, where they review the modern equipment and advanced laboratories that reflect the university’s level of progress.
