Within the framework of the academic structure of the university to complete its colleges and meet the needs of Kafrelsheikh Governorate for specialists in the fields of nursing, the Faculty of Nursing -  Kafrelsheikh University was established based on the decision of the Prime Minister No. 595 of 2013 AD and the approval of the Kafrelsheikh University Council in its session on 4/29/2013 and the Nursing Sector Committee in its sessions on 25 / 3/2013 AD and the decision of the Supreme Council of Universitie

A Ministerial Resolution No. 4467 was issued on November 24, 2013 approving the internal regulations of the Faculty of Nursing at Kafrelsheikh University and the start of studies at the College of Nursing undergraduate stage and the work of the internal regulations of the college

A six-storey building has been allocated inside the university campus in front of the College of Human Medicine, the headquarters of the College of Nursing in conjunction with the College of Physical Therapy starting from the academic year 2013/2014

The headquarters of the college were moved to the current location next to the College of Agriculture and the College of Dentistry and in front of the College of Pharmacy beginning from the academic year 2015/2016 AD The college consists of five floors.

Professor Dr. Majid Al-Qamari supervised and established the college, established its offices and halls, prepared its laboratories, and prepared an economic and social feasibility study for the establishment of the college as well as the academic regulation

Prof. Dr. Mohja Abdel Aziz was appointed to the position of Dean of the College of Nursing beginning in 2013.

Prof Dr. Maha Abo Gazia was appointed to the position of Dean of the College of Nursing in 2019.
