Diagnostic and intervention services

The Department of Radiology serves a pivotal and critical role in support of comprehensive patient care provided by Kafr Elsheikh University and has particular strengths in advanced diagnosis and therapy.  Highly trained radiologists in every sub-specialty field form the foundation of diagnostic and therapeutic services available to patients throughout the country.

Our staff provide continuous support to an extensive inpatient and outpatient population. The department serves as a national leader, optimizing traditional and emerging technologies in the pursuit of optimal care of our patients.

The department has a full complement of modern technology imaging systems including digital radiography and mammography, angiography, 320 slice computed tomography, 3T MRI and ultrasonography. Our technology base has undergone further enhancement with the installation of a fully digital department system. 

Education and training services

While committed to excellence in patient care and service, we also are committed to our core academic missions of education and research. We have an excellent residency program. We also have medical student rotations throughout the entire department.
