The department of German was established in 2016. It adopts the regulations of the faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University.

Priority for enrollment is for students who studied German as a first or second foreign language.

The department poses a curriculum that follows the European standards for languages GER. Educational materials are chosen accordingly.

A course was transformed into an electronic one.

High achievers are liable to be granted a scholarship to study in Germany for a month after passing the third academic year.
