Tuesday 26/1/2021, the university council holds its monthly meeting under the authority of the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Desouky in the presence of Major General Jamal Noor El-Deen; Prof Dr Hasan Youness, the vice president for post-graduation studies and research; Prof Dr Reda Salih, the vice president for community service and environment development affairs; Prof Dr Mohammad Abed El-All, the vice president for education and students’ affairs, the deans and the council members.

As well, the President praises the effective role that the governorate plays in implementing precautionary measures to prevent the emerging corona virus, and greets all health service providers, including doctors, nursing staff, and administrative persons in university hospitals, for the role they play during this exceptional period, confirming the continuation of firm implementation for the precautionary measures approved by the University Council.

He thanks the Governor for his support for the university and the development of the governorate, as it is witnessing major developments in the field of housing, slums and traffic axes within the framework of the directives of President Abed El-Fattah El-Sisi, to develop villages, centers and governorates to improve services provided to the citizen, especially the health system in the governorate.

The President requests the deans to prepare exam schedules and announce them to students during the first week of February and other preparations for examination works in each faculty with following the necessary procedures for conducting the exams of the first semester, which will begin after the end of the mid-year vacation, stressing the necessity of careful follow-up to implement all precautionary measures in the presence of the new Corona virus pandemic at the level of students, staff members and employees so that students sit for exams in ease and safety.

Otherwise, the university council also confirms that the university’s capabilities, scientists, researchers and experiences are in the service of the local community and the people of the governorate, via providing scientific and practical solutions and consultations, and developing proposals to support and develop the governorate.

For his part, Kafrelsheikh Governor expresses his happiness at his presence in the university campus among scholars, confirming that the university is the home of expertise, science and consultations for the governorate in various fields, referring to the continuous cooperation between the university and the governorate's agencies in order to achieve the implementation of development programs for the people of the governorate.

Major General Jamal Noor El-Deen affirms his keenness to continue communicating with the Council of Kafrelsheikh University to review the latest developments in the governorate, thanking the President of the University.

The Governor also announces the development of the Kafrelsheikh stadium and the establishment of a free park for citizens, praising the production of the work of colleagues in the governorate and the young graduates with their young ideas, which significantly helps in the speed of achievement.
