Online Courses available to Students……..Deans council: Implementing Study Plans and Schedules Online


The President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Dousoki confirms that the university started implementing “Online Learning” to facilitate the provision of lectures in all faculties and institutes according to the schedules prepared in advance, adding that the university seeks to maintain the safety of its students and the regularity of study in the second semester, with all its human possesses represented by staff members and the technological structure to communicate with students.

This comes within the implementing the decision of the President Abed El-Fattah El-Sisi to suspend the study in schools and universities for a period of two weeks, starting from Sunday, March 15, as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus and the guidance of Prof Dr Khalid Abed El-Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This came during the convening of the Emergency Deans Council under his chairmanship today, Sunday, 3-15-2020, in the presence of Prof Dr Hassan Younis, the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof Dr Reda Saleh, the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Deans, and Mr Mustafa Rizk, Secretary General of the University.

As well, Dr Dousoki announces that the university provides guidelines for using the official website platforms, educational platforms and social media platforms in addition to cloud storage services for staff members and assistant staff and it is being uploaded to the university website and the official websites of staff members and assistant staff on the university website and faculties’ websites through which they can upload lecture files “PDF- PPT- DOC- VIDEO- IMAGES PROGRAMMES- etc, so students can, via the university’s website and faculties’ websites, access staff member and assistant staff’s pages and download the scientific materials related to these courses.

Otherwise, the President directed the deans to submit a daily report to use the websites platforms to make the educational content available remotely to the students and he also instructed development and information technology sector and its various units to provide the necessary technical support to implement the proposed plan.
