Today Monday, the President Prof Dr Maged el Kemary meets a delegation from Masr el Kheir and Ministry of Communications. The delegation includes Eng Abeer shaqwir, the counselor of Minister of Communication and Information Technology and Eng Ghada Jibril, representative of Masr el Kheir Foundation. During the meeting, they discussed to establish a "technological incubator for artificial intelligence and mobile phone applications in the field of aquaculture and fish processing" at Kafrelsheikh University to be the gate of artificial intelligence in Egypt.
As well, El Kemary says that this incubator helps to meet the future challenges and keep abreast of the development of the developed world and aims to interest with the advanced technology in the field of information techniques and artificial intelligence. It will help Kafrelsheikh University in particular and Egypt in general to achieve its vision in the applications of artificial intelligence, seek to develop artificial intelligence industry and to build artificial intelligence facilities with the aim of establishing community-oriented artificial intelligence companies in many areas, including aquaculture and fish processing, and promoting innovation in all areas, with emphasis on large data, cloud computing, and Internet objects.
Furthermore, he adds that the establishment of the incubator represents an opportunity to train the accepted pioneers in the incubator, develop their ideas through training and guidance and provide material resources to turn the idea into an initial product, test and market the product and provide the necessary funding to establish an emerging company or expand an existing company as well as to contribute to the participation of students and faculty members in their various activities and motivate them to provide pioneering ideas in line with the orientation and identity of the incubator, and benefit from its services. This incubator as a nucleus is important for the establishment of the valley of technology at Kafrelsheikh University.
