Prof. Elkemary, President of Kafrelsheikh University, participated in the third Asian-Arab Conference on Higher Education, held at the International Islamic University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the auspices of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), 25-26 June 2018.

 The conference began with a welcoming speech by Dr. Aisha Khalil. The conference discussed and examined the current challenges facing universities and the tools for measuring the integrated performance of universities, enhancing the overall quality, presenting successful models and future planning of the changes to improve performance.

   More than 69 university presidents and directors attended the conference, which is an opportunity to exchange views, experiences, cooperation and partnership between Arab and Asian universities through activities and projects of mutual value and benefit.

During the conference, Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi, Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Universities was honored on the occasion of the close of his term and his outstanding contributions in the field of joint cooperation between the Arab universities. Prof. Elkemary presided over a session of the conference on its second day.
