The President Receives the Parliamentarian Mahmoud Bakry

 Today Wednesday 7/4/2021, the President Prof Dr Abedelrazek Desouky receives Mr Mahmoud Bakry, a journalist, a member of the Senate, and head of the Board of Directors of Al-Osboa Newspaper in the presence of Prof Dr Hasan Youness, the vice president for post-graduation studies and research; Prof Dr Reda Salih, the vice president for community service and environment development affairs; Prof Dr Mohammad Abed El-All, the vice president for education and students’ affairs and Prof Dr Abed El-Halem Okasha, the dean of Faculty of Sportive Education.

Mr Mahmoud Bakry delivers an educational lecture entitled "National Security within the Global Challenges, an Egyptian Vision" at the Faculty of Physical Education as part of a series of educational programs and student activities in the presence of Prof Dr Ahmed Zaina, the vice dean for education and students’ affairs; Prof Dr Naglaa Ibrahim, the vice dean for community service and environment development affairs, staff members, assistant staff and a number of students while adhering to the precautionary measures plan prepared by the university administration.

Prof Dr Abed El-Haleem Okasha, the dean of Faculty of Physical Education, welcomes the vice president for education and students’ affairs and the university’s guest Mr Mahmoud Bakry and extends his thanks and appreciation to the university administration and says that the main purpose of the seminar is to educate students.

As well, Mr Mahmoud Bakry begins his speech by praising what he has seen of the achievement in this great educational edifice, wishing that Kafrelsheikh University would be a model for all Egyptian universities to follow in terms of management discipline and workflow regularity, confirming the national security within the global challenges and reviewing the size of challenges that the state faces.

An open dialogue took place between Bakry and the students, in which he answered their questions, inquiries and suggestions.

Otherwise, Prof Dr Mohammad Abed El-All, the vice president for education and students’ affairs, welcomes the attendees and Dr Mahmoud Bakry, praising the purposeful role of the national media, thanking the administration of Faculty of Physical Education for organizing such symposiums and advising students to stay away from rumors.

Dr Abed El-All, confirms the university administration’s keenness to organize various symposiums with the aim of increasing awareness for students, combating destructive ideas and correcting misconceptions and information, which contribute to strengthening the national belonging of youth.

The President Prof Dr Abdelrazek Desouky said that these symposiums are held within the framework of the university administration's keenness to enhance the belonging and patriotism of students, confirming the importance of such educational seminars to enhance the national awareness of students, confirm the Egyptian national identity and aim to educate students via hosting public figures and national symbols in educational symposiums and meetings for direct interaction with students.

 

The president adds that the aim of organizing these symposiums is to support the political leadership's efforts to combat terrorism with thought, correct misconceptions and support development efforts in various fields, pointing to the role that the university plays and its permanent keenness to serve society, combat terrorism and contribute to development.
