Kafrelsheikh University is holding its first Environmental Week in cooperation with Ministry of Environment starting from Sunday 19-2-2012 until Thursday 23-2-2012.
A Synopsis about Society Service Affairs and Environment Development
It is not a doubt that Kafrelsheikh University has a close relationship with Middle Delta region after being established according to the republican Resolution no. 129 year 2006. This relationship is increasing and concentrating in the field of society service affairs and environment development Sector which is accustomed to facing and handling the real society problems to find out suitable scientific or practical solutions to be able to go side by side in consistent steps with the progress wheel.
Therefore, the society service affairs and environment development Sector is considered one of the most vital and basic sectors in the organizational body of the university and its all different faculties, as it accomplishes different tasks and carries numerous responsibilities, i.e. it is window of the university towards the outer society, where mutual interaction and close connections are created between the scientific and applicatory practical modes of thinking. Thus, holding conferences and launching festivals and symposiums that care for the environment are expected to be important means to enable the university work on its mission towards the surrounding society.
