The Department of Media at the Faculty of Arts, Kafr El-Sheikh University, won the third place for the press activities of the Third Shorouk Festival for the creativity of media students. The course was organized by the Higher Institute of Information at Al-Shorouk Academy, under the auspices of Prof. Enas Abdel-Dayem, Minister of Culture, and Mr. Mohamed Farid Khamis, founder of Al Shrouk Academy, in cooperation with the Cultural Development Fund, with 26 colleges and media departments and the participation of the Arab universities, on Wednesday 14 March.
It is worth mentioning that the project is the winner is the magazine "words of the other" executed by two students, Reda Bastouisi Shihi and Nora Elsayed Mohammed Yusuf.
The festival was attended by a number of artists, directors, journalists syndicate members, deans and heads of media departments, and a large number of university professors and students.
Alkomary stated that the university is working hard to establish a media college as well as holding meetings and workshops with senior journalists and media professionals in order to exchange experiences and provide students with the necessary media knowledge to be in contact with all state institutions and to be the voice of the university in society.
