Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO)

The project is held within the participation of Egypt in the international initiative of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and it is the leader of initiative and previous experts in program of the international assessment of students in schools and the international program to assess the adult contenders.

As well, it is one of international projects for which Egypt participate in planning since the beginning of participation in July 2010 although the beginning was since January 2010

The project is managed in Egypt through the National Center for measurement and evaluation within the development projects in higher education institutions and the Director of Dr Ibrahim Saad Shehata 

The project is the first attempt to assess the learning outcomes in higher education institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt

The number of participating countries in the project are 15 countries including two Arab countries are Egypt and Kuwait of six continents

Egypt participates in the four paths (public skill, economy, engineering and educational context) and Kuwait participates in only public skills.

Initiative seeks to create standards suitable for all communities, cultures and languages.
