Kafrelsheikh University Council
agrees on Monday 25/8/2014, under the authority of the President Prof Dr Maged
el Kemary in University Camp in Baltim, the following:
1) The proposal
of establishing the Faculty of Computing and Information to graduate cadres
capable of participating in meeting the need of various productive and service
sectors in province and state generally of specialisms of computer and
Information Technology
2) University
council previews the decision of the supreme council of universities about
separating accommodation from nutrition in Student Housing as the cost of
accommodation is 65 pounds and nutrition is 100 pounds
3) University
council previews the decision of the supreme council of universities about the
preparation of universities for the new academic year 2014/2015:

Preparing student guide to introduce
for students all student services, activities and treatment, social and
cultural services as well as definition of the faculty, its departments and
emphasize the importance of commitment of the student to university traditions.
·
Preparing student activities plan
for the first term of seminars, trips, social activities and meetings for
political and religious awareness at the level of university and faculties
through specialists in this field, with an emphasis of the prohibition of
exercise of any partisan activity inside university to participate in building
the integrated moderate personality and the stability of the academic year.
·
Meetings between the President and
the Vices of President and students to support communication and democratic
dialogue
·
Distribution of students on academic
programs according to the desire of student; taking into account the absorptive
possibilities for departments
·
Preparing
study rooms and equipping them with ways of presentation
·
Preparing student laboratories,
workshops, clubs and clinics
·
Preparing schedules for all study
programs before the beginning of academic year
·
Preparing academic guidance and
academic guidance card.
·
Preparing strategic plan for
missions which meet the needs of development plans and provision of required
specialisms
·
Preparing strategic plan for
scientific research in specialisms which keep pace with the requirements of
knowledge economy to promote renaissance in the higher education sector
·
Developing study programs and the
development of new environmental programs which support the economy of
knowledge
·
Preparing plan to increase the
number of expatriates in the university
·
Providing university book at
reasonable price for students to ease the financial burden with the
participation of all staff members in book support project
·
The respect of student for system in
student housing and the approval of accommodation within the respect university
values and traditions to achieve stability in the university
·
The role of university in national
projects; most important ones are Suez cannel, development of axis of cannel
and cultivating four million acres and others as well as the importance of developing
plans for participating in coping with community problems in all fields
especially (energy, water, health, agriculture and industry)
4) The council
agrees the beginning of study in the Faculty of Dentistry this year in the
beginning of Faculty of Medicine temporarily where there are sufficient
auditoriums and specialized labs in the faculty.
