Thus the President Prof Dr
Maged el Kemary concluded his meeting with faculty members on Wednesday
25/6/2014 after congratulating them for joining the university community as
administrators.
This meeting aims to definite
the nature of the current phase, duties and rights that must be adhered to young
faculty members, assuring that the appointment of administrators is happened in
the framework of universities regulation law according to the needs of
departments in the first place according to five year plan with standards which
necessitate the completion of quality requirements.
As well, he mentions that the
professor should be independent, as the judges, have no directions until he/she
will be just in his/her contact with the students as the university is not seat
of political parties and intellectual trends as the political action inside
university is through awareness pointing out that the positive change is to
stay away from political and intellectual controversies and maximize the use of
available means and fidelity in work to go beyond all challenges.
On the other hand, he spots the
light on the phenomenon of private lessons expressing hope in fighting against
this phenomenon and the university does not tolerate in punish any faculty
member who will give private lessons as it has surpassed many phases in
extremely difficult to try to change the system completely in a time when we
clash with a great resistance to culture change as our aim is to transform
university outside of history to university competes with Egyptian and
international universities through using minds to come up with innovative
solutions for chronic problems we have suffered from so much.
