This will enable students to study in an international academic environment, enhance student and faculty exchange opportunities through the European Union’s “Erasmus+” programs, and expand the implementation of joint research projects funded through “Horizon Europe” programs, with an emphasis on achieving tangible societal impact that serves development priorities and issues of common interest.

Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid affirms that Kafrelsheikh University places internationalization at the forefront of its priorities and seeks to build strategic partnerships with prestigious European universities. This directly reflects on the quality of education and scientific research and prepares graduates with the skills and experiences needed to compete regionally and internationally.

He points out that the University pays great attention to increasing researchers’ participation in European Union programs, especially “Horizon Europe,” which contributes to producing applied research with real impact on society and enhances the University’s position in international ranking indicators.

He explains that through these partnerships, the University aims to strengthen academic mobility for faculty members and students, exchange scientific expertise, develop academic programs, and prepare generations of graduates with a global vision and international experience. This supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

She confirms the University of Valencia’s keenness to expand areas of joint cooperation, particularly in language, translation, and communication programs, as well as supporting research initiatives and international academic activities that serve the interests of both institutions and enhance scientific cooperation between the two sides.
