Faculty of Education organizes Its Third International Conference on Artificial Intelligence with Participation of 19 Universities and 108 Scientific Papers Next Tuesday

The Faculty of Education at Kafrelsheikh University is preparing to launch the activities of its 12th Scientific and 3rd International Conference, entitled “Artificial Intelligence and the Renewed Roles of Faculties of Education”. The conference will be held from 14 to 18 April 2026, with broad academic and scientific participation from six Arab countries: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Libya, Algeria, and Egypt. It will also include the participation of 19 Egyptian and Arab universities and the presentation of 108 scientific papers covering various themes of the conference.

Prof. Yahya Eid affirms the university’s keenness to organize and host international scientific conferences that contribute to the development of the educational and research process. He points out that the Faculty of Education’s conference represents a leading scientific platform for discussing the applications of artificial intelligence in education and its role in bringing about a qualitative leap in the higher education system.

The President explains that the conference is consistent with the Higher Education and Scientific Research Strategy 2030 and serves as an international scientific platform for exchanging experiences and exploring avenues of cooperation between Arab universities. This contributes to the development of education, teacher preparation, and support for sustainable development paths in Egypt and the Arab region.

In the same context, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, confirms that the wide participation from Arab and Egyptian universities reflects the distinguished scientific standing of Kafrelsheikh University and its interest in strengthening academic cooperation and openness to diverse experiences. This supports the development of the education system and the preparation of qualified educational cadres to keep pace with the requirements of the digital age.

Otherwise, Prof. Mahmoud Abdelaziz, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Head of the Conference, affirms that the conference reflects the university’s orientation toward keeping pace with rapid global changes in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital education, and working to reshape the roles of Faculties of Education to suit future requirements.

He explains that the conference aims to enhance scientific dialogue among specialists in education, psychology, and educational technology, and to anticipate the future of Faculties of Education in light of the digital revolution. This will be achieved through discussions on employing artificial intelligence in education, digitizing curricula, developing teaching strategies, and addressing the psychological and educational aspects associated with modern technologies.
