Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of the University, conducts an extensive inspection tour inside the University Hospital to follow up the workflow and assess the level of medical services provided to patients. He visits various departments and medical laboratories as part of the university administration’s commitment to elevating the healthcare system and improving the quality of medical care offered to the residents of Kafrelsheikh Governorate and neighboring governorates.
The tour includes inspection of several vital departments, including the Cardiology Department and the Dialysis Unit, as well as the medical laboratories. The president ensures the regularity of operations, availability of medical supplies, efficiency of equipment, and the level of medical and nursing performance. He also made a point of listening to the opinions of patients and visitors to learn about their observations and suggestions.
During the tour, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim confirms that the University Hospital represents an important medical and educational institution and serves as one of the fundamental pillars in delivering distinguished healthcare services to the people of Kafrelsheikh Governorate. He confirms that the university spares no effort in supporting university hospitals, modernizing their infrastructure, and providing the latest medical equipment in line with international standards for healthcare.
The president states: “We are committed to continuous field follow-up of all vital sectors of the university, foremost among them the university hospitals, to ensure the provision of medical services worthy of the Egyptian citizen and reflective of Kafrelsheikh University’s societal role, with full adherence to quality standards and patient safety.”
He adds: “The University is working according to a comprehensive plan to develop medical and administrative performance, enhance the efficiency of human resources, and support medical teams, all of which contribute to improving the level of healthcare services and strengthening citizens’ confidence in the University Hospital.”
Otherwise, Prof. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, confirms that the University Hospital is witnessing noticeable progress in the level of medical services and equipment, thanks to the continuous support from the university administration. He points out that there is ongoing follow-up to implement treatment protocols and develop laboratories and various departments in a way that serves both the educational and medical processes simultaneously. He explains that the University Hospital plays an important societal role by providing distinguished medical services, organizing medical convoys, and actively participating in health initiatives, thereby contributing to supporting the health of the local community.
