The
decisions of the
Supreme Council
In
23/3/2006, the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities in its session
No. 439 about the number of required training workshops to be promoted to a
higher job from the beginning of an Assistant faculty to a professor from
January 2008. This requires Passing a
number 6 training workshops
when upgrading from the current degree to
a higher one (a demonstrator
...a professor). When holding leadership positions both academic
(the Head of Department -Deputy Dean of Faculty - Assistant Secretary
of the university) or
administrative (Director of management.. Assistant Secretary of the university)
In 10/3/2007, the decision of the supreme
council of universities, which determined the return of the processes
of training ,supervision
, management, employment, hospitality and publications in the
university sub- training centers and the Confirmation
of the support for
these centers in order to ensure its accreditation from professional
bodies inside and outside the home.
International Accreditation
of the Center:
For
the Center to get the international accreditation, it requires the availability
of five key conditions in each of the
following:
The
Center's Infrastructure
Devices
and training
aids
The
organizational structure
of the center
The
Plan and methods
of training
Administrative
Information Systems
It
must be available at
each of these points, a standard specification which are available at the center and the university.
International accreditation for
Trainers:
It
is a must to revise the guide of
trainers ' preparation and accreditation which is at the national
Faculty and Leadership Development Center. We can sum up the international
accreditation of trainers in the following steps:
Passing
the course of training basics and principles, this is the preliminary TOT.
A
test to measure the knowledge and skills of those who want to
attend the supplementary Training of Trainers course TOT2
supplementary.
Preparing
a
file for the submission
of CV and self-presentation
and evaluation.
Conducting
an interview with a committee from the national faculty and leadership
development center which is the third patron from the international IBCT. By
Passing the interview and submitting the CV, the member is going to be nominated
for the International course.
Passing
the international accreditation course which lasts for not less than three months.
It includes duties before attending the
first week of training at the
National Center then, after 100% attendance, there is a
preparing for an institutional development project should be submitted before
the beginning of the second week of training, then the attendance of the second
week of training, when there is an evaluation of the trainee. If the trainee
fulfilled the requirements, he would get the international accreditation
certificate. If he didn't fulfill the requirements, he would have a chance for
another three weeks to accomplish the requirements then, he will be informed of
passing the international course to register his name on the
site /http://www.ibct-global.com the International Council of Certified Trainers. Then, he became a certified trainer for 3 years. After
that, there is a re-accreditation by tests and attendance of professional development courses offered each
year.
