The Higher Committee for Supervising Student Union Elections, headed by Prof. Dr. Hassan Younis, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, announced the results of the elections of the secretaries and assistant secretaries of the committees of the University Students Union in the presence of Prof. Rushdi Al-Adawi, Coordinator of Student Activities and Mr. Ali Sabry, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare.
The results showed election of: 1) Mohammed Mustafa ,Faculty of Medicine, as President of the Students Union ; 2) Asma Nasr ,College of Specific Education, as Vice President of the Union.
Desouky congratulated the successively elected students and he hopes that the new student union council to practice democracy in their work and activities for their colleagues and university, pointing to the state of transparency, sophistication, impartiality and integrity.
The president also praised the honorable representation shown by the university students during the period of positive participation in the elections of the Students' Union and the college unions. He stressed that the new Union Council is required to participate in the implementation of various student activities that benefit the students, pointing to the support directed to the Student Union Council.
Desouky urged the new student union council to work in a team spirit to achieve their goals and proposals, their ambitions and ideas in a civilized manner befitting the university of Kafr El-Sheikh and expressing all students of the university, stressing the keenness of the university administration to provide an appropriate atmosphere for students and encourage them to participate in various student activities
