Under the patronage of Dr Mohamed Mokhtar Gomma, the Minister of Awqaf and the President Prof Dr Maged el Kemary, religious symposium was held in the Faculty of Education entitled “the Tolerance of Islam and Good Word” complementing the series of preaching convoys and religious guidance organized by the Ministry of Awqaf in cooperation with community service and environment development affairs sector in the university.

The Sheikh Ashraf el Shawadfy, imam and preacher at the Ministry of Awqaf, spoke about tolerance in Islamic law that makes people gather around the Messenger of Allah, pointing out that Islam was spread by tolerance neither violence nor sword, then spoke about samples of tolerance in worship and transactions and of eminence of the prophet with violators in faith who had turned to his followers and supporters.

As well, the Sheikh Mustafa Saphan, imam and preacher at the Ministry of Awqaf, explains the role of good word and its impact on tolerance and winning hearts, stressing the need to be characterized by the morals of our religion and to deepen more in it and be on our beloved Mustafa approach (peace be upon him) and be commitment to what our religion commands us and forbade.
